A band wouldn't be complete without its Lead Singer and Bass Player, and Soul4Purpose couldn’t have asked for a better one than the talented Yvonne Denise. She plays an instrumental role in the success and musical progression of the band.

Yvonne D. Williams, raised in the little town of New Hamburg New York, has truly explored the vast world of possibilities concerning music. Destined to achieve, at the young age of two, she began tinkering on the keys of the family organ. Church was the starting point in the development of her musical gifts and singing solos in the youth choir was just the beginning of the musical genius that dwells within her. She has an unquenchable thirst for music from the rhythms to the harmonies, to the true soul stirring powers it possesses.
Every aspect of music has always been her life and love. Any and everything she can get her hands on, she is determined to learn. Classified as a true "Jacqueline of ALL Trades", she is a Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Vocal Arranger, as well as a proficient Multi-Instrumentalist. Most important of all is the humility that precedes her. Despite the incredible gifts and talents she possesses, she always remains humble. "To God Be The Glory" is her theme.
After receiving a Degree in Communications and Media Arts with a concentration in Video Production and Editing, she decided to pursue the aspect of education that would enhance her true passion...Music. She was blessed with scholarships and the opportunity to attend and graduate from the world renowned, Berklee College of Music. Having such rich seasoned vocal abilities opened up many opportunities for her including performances with such artists as Frank McComb, Lynette Hawkins-Stevens, Dawkins & Dawkins, Brenda Russell and many others. As a member and the arranger of a vocal group called "Blessed", her exceptional ear and intricate harmony arranging abilities afforded the group with the opportunity to be part of a Berklee Masters Class Series alongside the award winning Gospel group Take 6. She was also chosen to showcase her musical talents in Tributes to award winning Jazz/R&B artist Diane Reeves and Steven Tyler of the Rock group Aerosmith. She has also more recently shared the stage with, as well as provide accompaniment for Grammy Award Nominee Gospel artist Kim Burrell, Grammy Award winner Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kierra Sheard and Le'Andria Johnson.
Over the years, Yvonne has travelled worldwide singing in countless premier Theaters and Venues from Ireland to China, Russian to Africa, South America and beyond. She sang at the 2010 Montreal Jazz Festival and has performed and had interview appearances on major network Television and Radio worldwide from New Zealand to Morocco, Bulgaria to Brazil. She also performed on Good Morning America for the Tribute and Memorial Service of the legendary Michael Jackson.
Upon returning from tour in early 2011, she embarked on the starting of her own Music Business, YDW For Purpose Productions. Yvonne provides quality Professional Music Services such as Instruction and Private Lessons for both voice and multiple instruments, Music Production and Recording and Music Performance. Her musical style is a rich mix of influences from Gospel to Jazz, R&B to Classical, and many other genres of music, all which make her the true "Musical Flower" that she is. Yvonne also expresses that she is truly humbled to have the opportunity to live her life fulfilling her dreams and aspirations through the world of music, as it brings happiness, love and joy to the world.
